About Trivia

Trivia Challenge runs questions across history, science, geography, sport, and entertainment, keeping score as you work through a round.

Mixing categories is deliberate. A round drawn from several fields tests general knowledge rather than a single specialism, and makes for a fairer contest between players.

How to play

  1. 1Read the question and select your answer from the options.
  2. 2Your score updates as the round progresses.
  3. 3Complete the round to see your total.

Scoring higher

  • Rule out the obviously wrong options first. Most questions reduce to two credible answers immediately.
  • Go with your first instinct on recall questions. Changing an answer more often turns a right one wrong than the reverse.
  • Read the question fully, watching for words like not or except that invert what is being asked.
  • Review what you missed afterwards. Revisiting wrong answers is where trivia actually builds knowledge.

Frequently asked questions

What categories are covered?

A mix including history, science, geography, sport, and entertainment, so rounds test broad general knowledge rather than one specialism.

Can I play with a team?

Yes. It works well on a shared screen with a group answering together, which makes it a common choice for team socials and classroom breaks.

Are the questions the same every time?

Questions are drawn from a larger pool, so rounds vary between plays rather than repeating in a fixed order.
