Doodle Jump is an endless vertical climber. Your character bounces automatically off each platform it lands on, and you steer left and right to line up the next one. Fall past the bottom of the screen and the run is over.

You never control the jump itself, only your horizontal position. Every decision is about where you will be when you come down.

How to play

  1. Steer left and right with the arrow keys or by tilting and dragging on a touchscreen.
  2. Land on platforms to bounce higher. The jump happens automatically on contact.
  3. Climb as far as you can without missing a platform and falling.

Climbing higher

  • Look up, not at your character. Choosing the next platform while you are still rising gives you the whole descent to line it up.
  • Use the screen wrap. Exiting one side brings you back on the other, which is often the fastest route to a platform near the edge.
  • Make small corrections. Sharp inputs overshoot narrow platforms and are the most common cause of a missed landing.
  • Prefer a safe platform directly above to a risky one that gains more height. Consistency beats altitude in an endless climber.

Frequently asked questions

Do you control when the character jumps?
No. The bounce is automatic on landing, and your only input is horizontal movement, so the skill is entirely in positioning.
Can you go off the side of the screen?
Yes. Leaving one edge brings you back on the opposite side, and using this wrap deliberately is often the quickest way to reach a platform.
How does the game end?
By falling below the bottom of the screen after missing a platform. There is no finish line, only how high you manage to climb.
