About Fruit Slice

Fruit Slice throws fruit across the screen for you to cut with a swipe. Bombs are mixed in, and hitting one ends the run, so speed alone will not carry you.

The scoring rewards restraint as much as reaction: a single swipe through several fruit is worth far more than the same fruit cut separately.

How to play

1Swipe across the screen, or drag with the mouse, to slice through fruit.
2Cut as much fruit as you can before it falls away.
3Avoid the bombs entirely; touching one ends the game.

Scoring more

Wait for fruit to cluster and cut several with one long swipe. Combos are worth substantially more than individual slices.
Use long diagonal swipes across the screen rather than short jabs at each piece.
Track the bombs first and plan your swipe around them, rather than reacting once one is already in your path.
Let a piece go when it is next to a bomb. Losing one fruit costs a fraction of what ending the run costs.

Frequently asked questions

How do combos work?

Slicing several pieces of fruit with a single continuous swipe scores a combo bonus, worth considerably more than cutting the same fruit in separate swipes.

What happens if I hit a bomb?

The run ends immediately, which is why it is worth sacrificing nearby fruit rather than risking a swipe that passes close to one.

Does it work on a computer without a touchscreen?

Yes. Click and drag with the mouse to swipe, which works the same way as a finger on a touchscreen.
