  2. Everyone finds one and holds it up to the camera.
  3. Acknowledge the first back, and the most unusual interpretation.
  4. Repeat for a few rounds.

Choosing good items

  • Pick things almost everyone will have, so nobody is left out on the first round.
  • Use open-ended prompts, such as something that makes you happy, which produce far better answers than specific objects.
  • Keep rounds short, thirty seconds or so, to maintain the energy.
  • Reward the most interesting item rather than only the fastest, which rewards more than proximity to a desk drawer.
  • Be mindful that people in offices have fewer objects available than those at home.
