Quick Quiz

Test your knowledge with 10 questions!

Quick Quiz runs short rounds of general knowledge questions across a mix of subjects, scoring as you go. Rounds are deliberately brief, so a session fits into a break rather than an evening.

Mixed-subject questions are also a better test than single-topic ones, because you cannot rely on a single area of strength to carry a round.

How to play

  1. Read the question and choose from the available answers.
  2. Your score updates as you go through the round.
  3. Finish the round to see your total and review what you got wrong.

Scoring better

  • Eliminate the clearly wrong options first. Most multiple-choice questions reduce to two plausible answers very quickly.
  • Trust your first instinct on factual recall. Second-guessing changes more correct answers to wrong ones than the reverse.
  • Read the whole question, especially any negation. Words like not and except reverse what is being asked and are easy to skim past.
  • Review the answers you missed at the end. That review is where most of the learning actually happens.

Frequently asked questions

What subjects do the questions cover?
A mix of general knowledge, including history, science, geography, sport, and entertainment, so no single specialism carries a whole round.
How long does a round take?
Rounds are short by design, typically a few minutes, which makes the game practical for a break or as a warm-up activity.
Can I use this with a group?
Yes. It works well shared on a screen with a team or class answering together, and needs no setup or accounts.
